Torque / Torque sensors

Mountz MTX - Low Torque Reaction Sensor

The Mountz MTX is a low torque sensor designed for calibrating and testing small hand screwdrivers, torque wrenches and power tools.

With its low profile design, the calibration instrument can be used for automated applications, by mounting it to a palletized system. This saves time as there is need to remove the driver from the robot or off the automated system for calibration. These versatile torque sensors are used in conjunction with a torque tester.

  • For calibrating low torque hand screwdrivers, wrenches and power tools
  • The low profile design makes it ideal for calibrating robotic drivers on the assembly line
  • Various models that range from 1 – 160 ozf/in
  • Features ARCII technology, an instant auto-recognition system of the MTX connected to the PTT or LTT
  • Mountable
  • 1/4” female square drive
  • Bi-directional
Mountz BMX - Torque Reaction Sensors

Meeting the demands to test multiple torque ranges for various torque tools used in production, maintenance and calibration labs, the versatile torque sensor is used in conjunction with a torque tester.

The torque sensor is a bench mounted calibration instrument designed for torque wrench calibration, torque screwdriver calibration, and electric & pneumatic screwdriver calibration. Controlling torque is quintessential for companies to ensure their product’s quality, safety and reliability isn’t compromised.

  • For calibrating low torque hand screwdrivers, wrenches and power tools
  • The low profile design makes it ideal for calibrating robotic drivers on the assembly line
  • Various models that range from 2 ozf/in to 5,000 lbf/ft
  • Features ARCII technology, an instant auto-recognition system of the MTX connected to the PTT or LTT
  • Mountable
  • 1/4” female square drive
  • Bi-directional
Mountz BLRTSX - Brushless Rotary Torque & Angle Sensors

The Mountz brushless rotary torque & angle sensors an ideal torque-measuring solution for applications where accuracy and reliability rank paramount. Can be used for testing real-time torque or for checking the breakaway torque (first movement) of a fastener.

  • Non-contact signal transfer and maintenance free
  • Angle Output: 2-channel quadrature, 360 pulses per rotation
  • Ability to measure the rotation angle of a fastener. Joint rate & breakaway torque can be measured too
  • The common brush bounce that plagues the accuracy testing of pulse tools is cured when using a brushless rotary transducer
  • Compact design & bi-directional
  • For use with most power tools, high RPM tools, or rotational measurement applications
  • Features ARCII technology, an instant auto-recognition system of the BLRTSX-A connected to the PTT or LTT
Mountz SDX - Torque Screwdriver Sensors

SDX torque screwdriver sensor is an instrument designed for auditing or tightening fasteners to a specified torque when mated with a torque analyzer.

  • Torque Sensors for auditing or tightening fasteners to a specified torque when mated with a torque analyzer
  • Ergonomic rubber grip and stainless steel Female/Hex bit holder
  • Features ARC II technology, an instant auto-recognition system of the SDX connected to the LTT or PTT
  • Connect to a torque analyzer to monitor, test or audit a fastener
  • Safe Overload: 125% of Rated Output

On 16 March 2020 we implemented a number of measures to protect the wellbeing of our staff and to mitigate any supply issues to our customers. From a Calibration Laboratory service perspective, we have split our staff into two shifts to reduce contact within the business whilst maintaining laboratory continuity.
Our Sales, Accounts and Admin staff are all working from home for the foreseeable future.
We can assure you that we will continue to do all we can to protect our staff, customers and their families.
