UKAS Calibration


Classic operates Ireland’s
only UKAS calibration laboratory

Classic Technology operates Ireland’s only UKAS calibration laboratory (UKAS Lab no. 0822) for Pressure, Temperature, Electrical, Mass and now Humidity calibration.

Classic’s dedicated state-of-the-art laboratory at Naas, Co. Kildare, audited to ISO 17025:2017*, is delivering the widest range of capabilities in Ireland.

With Classic’s unparalleled turnaround times delivering both repair and calibration to a large number of Ireland’s leading companies, including Pharmaceuticals and Aerospace that require the most exacting standards, there’s no need to compromise on either quality or service.

We issue Certificates of Calibration in accordance with the laboratory accreditation requirements of UKAS and ISO17025.

Pressure Calibration

  • Range:
    0 to 1100 bar Gauge and Absolute
  • Instruments:
    Analogue and Digital Indicators, Barometers, Pressure Calibrators. (For example; Druck, Beamex, Fluke etc.)
    Transmitters and Transducers, Low pressure calibrators. (For example; Druck, Furness etc.)

Temperature Calibration

  • Range:
    -196°C to +660°C
  • Instruments:
    Dry Block Calibrators, Digital Temperature Indicators, RTDs/PRTs

Electrical Calibration

  • Range:
    Voltage, Current, Resistance, Frequency, Time and RPM
  • Instruments:
    Process Meters e.g. Fluke, Metrix etc., Multifunction Calibrators (For example; Druck, Beamex, Fluke etc.)
    Resistance Decade Boxes, Loop Calibrators, Photo Tachometers, Stopwatches, Current Clamp Meters.

Humidity Calibration

  • Range:
    5% to 95% Relative Humidity over 0°C to 60°C
  • Instruments:
    RH, Dew Point and Temperature indicators (For example: Vaisala, Rotronic, Dostmann, E&E etc.), RH&T Loggers etc.

Mass Calibration

  • Range:
    1mg to 20kg
  • Instruments:
    OIML Class E2 weights: 1mg to 10kg, OIML Class F1, F2, M1, M2 and M3: 1mg to 20kg

M1 level is usually suitable for most general types of industrial task, with F2, F1 and E2 being for more accurate industrial uses. Please contact us should you require further advice about which type of calibration is most suitable for you.
